She explains that no matter how much she sings, her voice cannot reach the people whose feelings created her world. Having seen Ichika move her listeners, Miku hopes that understanding her will help her connect with them. Ichika agrees, beginning a new story shared by Miku and the young people around her.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSaki Fujita provides Hatsune Miku's original character voice. Ruriko Noguchi voices Ichika Hoshino, Yui Ogura voices Minori Hanasato, Akina voices Kohane Azusawa, Daisuke Hirose voices Tsukasa Tenma and Tomori Kusunoki voices Kanade Yoisaki. Based on the work of SEGA, Colorful Palette and Crypton Future Media, the film is directed by Hiroyuki Hata and written by Yoko Yonaiyama, with character designs and chief animation direction by Yuki Akiyama, sub-character designs and chief animation direction by Masatoshi Tsuji, and music by Satoshi Hono. P.A.WORKS produces the animation.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe standard edition contains the approximately 105-minute feature and around three minutes of video extras: the teaser promotional video, the main trailer and the creditless opening. The Japanese feature soundtrack is available in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo, with Japanese subtitles. A Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo commentary features Ruriko Noguchi as Ichika Hoshino and Hinata Sato as Mizuki Akiyama in the first half, followed by Ai Furihata as Airi Momoi and Kento Ito as Toya Aoyagi in the second half.
