The worst first encounter leads to true love. A youthful romance filled with the bittersweet love lives of university students.

The eagerly awaited sequel Love by Chance became a major hit with more than 200 million cumulative views. It reached Japan in December 2019 and was introduced as a celebrated drama during the Thai boys' love boom in Japan in 2020, becoming a work loved by many viewers. This sequel, Love by Chance 2: A Chance to Love, centres on Tin and Can, whose popularity in the first series rivalled that of Ae and Pete, and on Ae after he is left alone. In the previous series, the straightforward, caring, slightly foolish Can gradually melted the frozen heart of Tin, the cold son of a wealthy family, warming viewers' hearts in turn. Their relationship is retold from their first meeting here, allowing this series to be enjoyed on its own. Familiar characters including Kengkla, Techno, Tum, Tar, Pond and Bow also return.

Where will Tin and Can's romance lead? Tin, the lonely second son of a wealthy family, looks down on others, accepts only people he considers his equals and struggles with conflict within his family. Can is not good at studying, but is so innocent and direct that his sister worries about his tendency to believe everything he is told. Neither knows love when their disastrous first encounter brings them together. They clash, misunderstand each other, discover that what they feel is love, and gradually connect despite the twists and turns along the way. Watch the normally unfriendly Tin try to attract Can's attention or reveal a gentle smile when affection overwhelms him. Can, usually playful, becomes angry for Tin and openly displays his emotions in scenes that convey his love. As in the first series, other young men's love stories unfold alongside theirs and deserve close attention.

The shared world with TharnType includes recurring characters and developments in their stories, making comparisons between the productions rewarding.

Story Can, a sports science student, is running to avoid being late for a lecture when he is almost struck by a car driven by Tin from the international faculty. The two clash whenever they meet afterwards. Yet Tin starts to take an interest in Can, who is unlike anyone he has previously encountered. Can cannot understand what Tin means by calling him dirty but cute, though he also begins to think Tin is not such a bad person. One day, angered by something Can says, Tin silences him with a kiss and experiences an unfamiliar feeling. Can cannot stop thinking about the kiss, whatever he is doing, and it begins to disrupt his daily life. Meanwhile, after Pete leaves his side, Ae's serious, healthy way of living changes completely. He drinks heavily every night, misses lectures and skips club activities. His close friends Pond, Bow and Mai worry about him...

Contents and inclusions All 13 episodes discs: main programme. Bonus video footage, and a slideshow.
