more-than-a-married-couple-but-not-lovers-blu-ray-box-2
More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers Blu-ray Box 2

Can you pledge make-believe love for the sake of real romance? The romantic comedy about a pretend relationship between an unpopular introvert and an outgoing gyaru becomes an anime. This is the second and final Blu-ray box of More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, containing episodes 7–12.

Unremarkable high-school student Jiro Yakuin finds himself living with Akari Watanabe, the beautiful gyaru classmate he would never normally have anything to do with, as part of their school's marriage practical course. Their first impressions of each other could hardly be worse. An introvert and an extrovert seem a poor match, and the situation is more unsettling than he can handle. Mishaps after a bath and unexpected moments of close contact leave Jiro flustered, though he tries not to think about her. Akari proposes that they try seriously pretending to be a married couple. Each is in love with someone else, so they decide to play their roles properly to earn the right to exchange partners. Yet their sweet and awkward domestic life gradually makes them conscious of each other, and they begin discovering one another's charms. A gyaru and an unpopular boy start their pretend married life, full of even more excitement than an ordinary dating relationship.

Main programme: episodes 7–12. The manufacturer's definitive page for confirms these episodes and the following regular contents: a slipcase with newly drawn anime artwork; a special booklet containing a newly drawn manga by original author Yuki Kanamaru; a collection of promotional videos and television commercials; and the second part of the special programme Saori Onishi and Saki Miyashita's More Than Imagination, Less Than Reality.

The Amazon narrative incorrectly repeats episodes 1–6 and first-box bonus information. Its advertised soundtrack download code and creditless opening and ending sequences apply to the first box and are excluded from this second box's promised contents. The definitive manufacturer specification for the second box takes precedence.

Original broadcast information: AT-X began October 9, 2022, airing Sundays at 22:00, with repeats Wednesdays at 29:30 and Sundays at 07:00.
