Its superior science and organization bring seventy percent of those nations under its control, while war continues in space.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith the Earth Federation forces facing defeat, the transport ship Idaho takes refuge in Alucard, a neutral country's space colony, carrying refugees and secret military cargo. Although Alucard refuses entry to the cruiser, Giganos troops force their way into the colony.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAstronauts Academy student Kaine Wakaba and his old friends Light and Tapp see a man carrying a disc of secret-weapon data shot dead in the city. Still holding the disc, the three are caught in the fighting between the Giganos forces and Idaho. By chance they enter the cockpits of the secret Metal Armor weapons Dragonar and register themselves as their pilots.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe six-disc Blu-ray box contains all forty-eight episodes, with approximately 1,152 minutes of main-program footage. Japanese subtitles are included. The newly illustrated inner case is accompanied by a sixty-eight-page special booklet with an interview with character designer Kenichi Onuki, a discussion between mechanical designer Kunio Okawara and setting coordinator Koichi Inoue, a discussion between producer Takayuki Yoshii and Koichi Inoue, story information, character profiles, mechanical profiles and more.
