Riho Yoshioka, Shintaro Morimoto, Anna Yamada and Takayuki Yamada join him, each appearing in a Fujii-directed film for the first time. The supporting cast includes Goki Maeda, Ryo Tajima, Yuya Endo, Yu Miyazaki, Kanro Morita, Naomi Nishida, Takashi Yamanaka, Shohei Uno, Taro Suruga, Hana Kino, Tetsushi Tanaka, Hideko Hara and Yutaka Matsushige.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFujii and Kazuhisa Kodera wrote the screenplay, with music by Takashi Ohmama and the theme song Taiyo by Yorushika. The film received thirteen excellence awards across twelve categories at the 48th Japan Academy Film Prize, including top honors for lead actor, supporting actress and director. It also won three Hochi Film Awards, including best Japanese film, and a leading-performance award at the Mainichi Film Awards.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe deluxe edition contains the 120-minute feature and 49 minutes of supplementary footage on one Blu-ray. A production documentary follows the making of Kaburagi's long escape and the scenes leading to the story's resolution, alongside a trailer collection. The film is presented in 1080p with its original Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.
