Brace yourself for the impact: Warriors of Love arrives for the turbulent twenty-first century.

The enduring 1978 theatrical classic Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love was reconstructed and reinterpreted as an entirely new series. Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love expanded from theatrical screenings to television broadcasts and now receives its first Blu-ray box in individual-episode format, with numerous newly included video extras. Three years have passed since Yamato returned from its great voyage to Iscandar, 168,000 light-years away in each direction. Restored to its former blue appearance by the Cosmo Reverse System, Earth has signed a peace treaty with the Garmillas Empire. Alongside reconstruction, Earth is building a new fleet, including the advanced battleship Andromeda, ostensibly for defence. Despite Starsha of Iscandar's wishes, Earth has begun moving towards military expansion. Is this truly the peace that Yamato achieved through so many irreplaceable sacrifices? The prayers of Teresa, the goddess who wishes for peace throughout the universe, summon Yamato to another voyage.
