Takeru Kamishiro is an ordinary office worker whose wish for a small escape from everyday life leads somewhere much more extraordinary. Reincarnated in a world of swords and magic, he discovers enhanced physical abilities, remarkable magical power and a special talent for detecting valuable materials. He begins a second life as a gatherer, exploring the new world through the resources it offers and the people he meets.
A young dragon, a troublesome elf, a lizardman warrior and a beautiful ancient horse deity become part of his growing circle of companions. Their noisy, cheerful company turns material collecting into an adventure far beyond the modest change Takeru once imagined.
The two-disc box contains all twelve episodes, with approximately 288 minutes of main programme and around 80 minutes of supplementary material. Episode 1 has a cast commentary featuring Nobunaga Shimazaki, Ayasa Ito and Makoto Koichi, plus a separate Nornis commentary with Toko Inui and Chima Machita. Toshiyuki Morikawa and Satomi Sato provide the episode 12 commentary. Creditless opening and ending sequences, promotional videos and commercials complete the extras. The main programme has Japanese Linear PCM audio and no subtitles.
