A Journey Through Another World Raising Kids Blu-ray BOX

The twins encountered in the forest are astonishingly strong. The popular novel series A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring, which surpassed 1.23 million copies including manga and digital editions, becomes an anime. Twin performers Aina Suzuki and Miharu Hanai publicly reveal for the first time that they are sisters, playing brother and sister together. Takumi's leisurely new life with the children is a highlight of this adaptation.

Takumi Kayano loses his life through a god's mistake and is reincarnated. Granted various skills, he is sent to another world, only to arrive in a dangerous forest crawling with monsters. There he discovers a young boy and girl who seem to be twins, names them Allen and Elena, and takes them into his care. Surprised by how effortlessly they defeat monsters with martial arts, he eventually reaches a town and registers with its adventurers' guild to earn a living. Watching Allen and Elena grow, he begins a relaxed life as an adventurer.

All twelve episodes are included. Yusuke Shirai plays Takumi Kayano, Aina Suzuki plays Allen, Miharu Hanai plays Elena and Haruka Tomatsu plays Sylphyleel. Directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa, with series composition by Atsushi Maekawa and animation by EMT Squared, the adaptation draws on Shizuru Minazuki's AlphaPolis novels, illustrated by Yamakawa, and Tomomi Mizuna's manga. Yuki Nakano designs the characters and Akinari Suzuki composes the music.

The special 24-page booklet includes an original short story by Minazuki. Nakano's new artwork decorates the three-sided box, and the discs use picture labels. Audio commentary for episode 1 features Shirai, Suzuki and Hanai; video extras include creditless opening and ending sequences and promotional videos. The 288-minute series is on two region-free Blu-rays with Japanese Linear PCM 2-channel stereo audio and no subtitles.
