Adachi and Shimamura Volume 3 Blu-ray

Yesterday, I dreamed that I kissed Shimamura. The much-loved light novel Adachi and Shimamura, written by Hitoma Iruma and illustrated by Non for KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko imprint, receives its long-awaited anime adaptation.

This slightly unusual coming-of-age story follows the easygoing daily lives and changing closeness of two high school girls, Adachi and Shimamura, who happen to meet on the second floor of their school gym.

Adachi and I are fellow class-skippers who met by chance on the gym's second floor. Our relationship amounts to playing table tennis together sometimes, or not playing. For someone like me, who generally finds socializing bothersome, that was just the right distance.

But lately, Adachi has been acting strangely. She used to seem like a cat with no interest in people; now she feels more like a dog. Did I do something to her? This is the story of their relationship changing just a little.

Volume three contains episodes seven through nine. Video extras comprise short animation and character promotional videos for Adachi, Shimamura, Hino, Nagafuji and Yashiro. The original first pressing included an illustrated slipcase, a novel, a sixteen-page booklet and a sticker; those first-press items depend on copy availability.

The cast features Akari Kito as Adachi, Miku Ito as Shimamura, Manami Numakura as Hino, Reina Ueda as Nagafuji and Iori Saeki as Yashiro.
