Aikatsu! Animation

Reach for the brightest idol star once again. This fifth-anniversary collection brings together the whole Aikatsu Stars! television story—all one hundred episodes broadcast from April 2016 to March 2018—alongside Aikatsu Stars! The Movie and supplementary footage.

At Four Star Academy, girls work toward their dream of becoming top idols through Aikatsu—idol activities. The school’s four leading stars are known as S4, and their success inspires the new students to follow in their footsteps. With sparkling Aikatsu cards, each girl learns to produce her own distinctive shine. Strong, cheerful and straightforward, their world brings together singing, dancing and fashion as they begin a new journey toward their dreams.

The collection includes a three-sided art box with newly drawn anime illustrations, new picture labels and a booklet. Audio commentary covers stories selected by viewers in an episode poll. Video supplements include creditless openings and endings, Data Carddass Aikatsu Stars! music videos and a continuous-play function for live scenes.

Apart from the disc containing the movie, the television material and video supplements reproduce the content of the earlier Aikatsu Stars! Blu-ray Boxes 1–4 and Hoshi no Tsubasa Blu-ray Boxes 1–4. A special acrylic stand using the winning jacket-poll illustration and postcards using the top five illustrations were first-production-only bonuses and are not guaranteed.
