Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family! Volume 3 Blu-ray

A hugely popular work with 300,000 likes on social media makes its long-awaited television anime debut. The super-cute girl-shaped weapon Alma-chan starts up! The original manga, The Girl-Type Weapon (Alma-chan) Wants to Be a Family, has been serialized on KADOKAWA's Comic Newtype web comic platform since 2021. The talents of Enji and Suzume, the unfortunate young genius scientists who created the flawless self-learning autonomous combat robot Alma, were supposed to win worldwide recognition. Instead, Alma calls them Dad and Mom, leaving them completely bewildered. To develop her high-performance AI and make her the best robot possible, they begin living together as a family. This new kind of at-home comedy began its television broadcast in October 2025.

Each volume was announced with generous first-production bonuses: a special booklet containing a newly drawn comic by original creator Nanateru, a box newly illustrated by Nanateru and a digipak newly illustrated by the anime team. Regular video extras round out the bonus material. First-production physical extras depend on the supplied pressing and are not guaranteed.
