Ano Kuzu wo Nagutte Yaritain da Blu-ray Box pairs bruising heartbreak with the determination to fight back. Nao plays Hokomi Sato, a sincere 29-year-old whose wedding day collapses when the groom runs away and she discovers his infidelity. Her attempt to punch him misses entirely, leaving her humiliated in front of wedding photographer Kairi Kuzuya, played by Yuta Tamamori.

With the couple's apartment gone as well, Hokomi returns to the family home shared by her mother Akemi, sister Sayami and young niece Mimi. At her city-hall job, rumours make colleagues treat her awkwardly, while the cancelled ceremony leaves an unwelcome bill. When Kairi reappears offering help, he seems to provide a welcome escape from everything that has gone wrong. But the charming stranger has an identity and history she does not yet understand.

Still frustrated that she could not land that punch, Hokomi stops outside Hanegi Boxing Gym. An invitation from its chairman draws her through the doors and towards a new ambition: becoming a professional boxer. Romance and boxing demand the same difficult willingness to face pain and keep moving, as Hokomi tries to change her life without falling for another man who will hurt her. Sae Okazaki, Yuta Koseki, Yuki Kura, Yui Narumi, Shiori Tamai, Shunsuke Daito, Atsuro Watabe and Yuki Saito join the cast.

All ten episodes are included across three programme discs, running approximately 466 minutes. A fourth disc supplies around 166 minutes of extras, including making-of footage, a conversation between Nao and Tamamori, the companion features Ano Kuzu wo Taoshite Yaritain da and Ano Kuzu wo Minuite Yaritain da, and the side story Ano Yoru wo Yurushite Yaritain da. Outtakes, cast memories, filming wrap-ups and promotional spots complete the supplementary material, alongside a 28-page booklet.
