Arifureta Complete Blu-ray Box Special Edition

The first and second television seasons of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest come together in a complete Blu-ray Box!

The hugely popular series began serialisation on Shosetsuka ni Naro in November 2013 and quickly gained a following. By February 2024, it ranked fourth in the site’s all-time rankings, had exceeded 750 million total page views, and the series had surpassed six million copies in circulation.

This complete edition brings together both television seasons with the unaired stories Yue’s Diary, Hot Spring Where Romance Blooms and Arifureta: From a Detour to World’s Strongest, as well as the OVA The Miraculous Meeting and the Phantasmagorical Adventure. It is a chance to look back on Arifureta before its third season.

The boy will surpass even the strongest. Hajime Nagumo, a bullied student, is summoned to another world along with his classmates. While they develop one extraordinary combat ability after another, Hajime receives the unassuming ability of a Synergist. The weakest even in this other world, he is thrown into the depths of a labyrinth through a classmate’s malice. In despair, with no escape in sight, he discovers a path to becoming the strongest while remaining a Synergist, and has a fateful encounter with the vampire Yue.

“I’ll protect Yue, and Yue will protect me. That makes us the strongest. Let’s sweep everything aside and cross beyond this world.” The ultimate otherworld fantasy begins with a boy in the abyss and a vampire in its deepest reaches.

After parting ways with his former classmates, Hajime and the party he leads head for the Great Labyrinths to obtain new ancient magic. Overcoming one trial after another, they steadily grow stronger in their efforts to return to their original world. Meanwhile, the demons are making ominous moves. Shadows creep towards the royal capital, and a mysterious figure acts behind the scenes. “I’ll defeat every enemy—even if it’s a god.” Who is the true enemy standing in their way? The second season of the ultimate otherworld fantasy begins!

Bonus stories include Yue’s Diary, The Miraculous Meeting and the Phantasmagorical Adventure, Hot Spring Where Romance Blooms and Arifureta: From a Detour to World’s Strongest, picture dramas originally released on Twitter, and commercials and promotional videos. Character songs and the anime’s original soundtrack are also brought together again. Supplementary material features opening and ending storyboards from both seasons, earlier key visuals and illustrations created for the Blu-ray releases.
