Ashita e Attack! Complete Series Blu-ray
想い出のアニメライブラリー 第131集 あしたへアタック!
A girl dedicates her high-school life to volleyball and fights to overcome the threat of her club’s closure. The beloved sports anime Ashita e Attack! receives its long-awaited first home-video and Blu-ray release to mark the forty-fifth anniversary of its original broadcast.
Now entering her third year at Tachibana High School, Mimi Hijiri intends to devote her final school year to volleyball. A year earlier, however, a tragedy struck the school’s team: a member died during its gruelling training. Since then, the club has effectively ceased its activities.
Mimi works desperately to recruit new members and rebuild the volleyball club. When she learns that transfer student Asuka Ichijo was a formidable player at her previous school, she tries to persuade her to join—but the path ahead is far from simple.
The series was planned with the 1978 Volleyball World Cup in Japan in view. Newly created jacket artwork accompanies this commemorative edition, together with an explanatory booklet featuring a special interview about the production. Its much-loved theme song continues to inspire enthusiasm among fans.
