AYAKA Animation

A boy returns to the place his destiny leads him. A story of souls and bonds unfolds on the mysterious islands of Ayaka.

Yukito Yanagi grew up in a children’s home on the mainland. One day, an unruly young man named Jingi Sagawa arrives, claiming to be a disciple of Yukito’s late father, and takes him back to his birthplace, Ayakajima.

This unusual archipelago consists of seven islands, where legends of fire and water dragons remain deeply rooted and mysterious beings called Mitama are an everyday presence. Yukito begins life there alongside the three disciples of his father, a master who protected the islands’ harmony. But Jingi’s two senior fellow disciples, Haruaki Kurama and Aka Ibuki, share a deep conflict. As harmony begins to unravel on these mysterious islands, what truth will Yukito confront?

This final volume features a newly illustrated jacket, an outer slipcase and Digipak presentation. It includes a new short story by GoRA, a booklet and bonus video footage.
