Ayaka Is in Love with Hiroko Blu-ray Box turns a workplace crush into a comedy of increasingly tangled misunderstandings. Ayaka is determined to win over her senior colleague Hiroko and makes her feelings obvious every day, only to find that none of her advances seem to land. Hiroko, admired throughout the office, is far less unaffected than she appears.

The problem is that each woman assumes the other is straight. Ayaka's persistence leaves Hiroko flustered, while Hiroko's attempts to keep her composure only make Ayaka try harder. Their conflicting assumptions fuel a romance in which a colleague who refuses to give up meets a senior determined not to be won over.

Adapted from Sal Jiang's Girls' Love manga, the series stars Shiho Kato as Ayaka and Kanna Mori as Hiroko. Kyoya Honda, Mio Yuki, Eiku Yamashita, Nonoka Kubo and Kazuya Seto complete the featured cast. Nao Nomura and Yuta Yoshikawa direct, with a screenplay by Ayumi Shimo.

The first two discs contain all eight episodes, with approximately 96 minutes on each disc for a 192-minute series. The third disc adds approximately 95 minutes of supplements: behind-the-scenes footage, an episode-one visual commentary with Kato and Mori, their preview-screening and completion-talk recording, and creditless opening and ending sequences. An outer sleeve and booklet accompany the set.

This region-free Blu-ray edition uses Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo. The main episodes offer English and Traditional Chinese subtitles, together with Japanese subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. These subtitle options apply to the main programme only, not the supplement disc.
