BanG Dream! Animation

BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Promise, first released in Japanese cinemas on April 23, 2021, comes to Blu-ray. BanG Dream! is a next-generation girls’ band project linking its characters with live performances. Alongside its activities as a real band, Roselia has established a striking presence; this theatrical animation rebuilds the members’ story for the cinema.

Determined to take part in the festival, Yukina Minato decides to form a band. Other members gather around her, each holding feelings and ambitions of her own, and the five set their sights on greater heights as Roselia. This is the story of the promise that carries them from the band’s formation to their challenge at FUTURE WORLD FES.

The accompanying CD includes full-length recordings of Keep Heart and Original Call, songs featured in the smartphone game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, together with the film’s score. An illustrated slipcase and a reduced-format theatrical-production script are also included. The script reflects the film during theatrical production, so some passages may differ from the video. First-production copies, while supplies last, additionally contain a jacket-design sticker. The separately sold Episode of Roselia II: Song I am. was released on the same day, offering a further journey into Roselia’s world and story.
