Space Battleship Yamato Animation

Resistance in the fiftieth year.

A story of resistance connected to Yamato two thousand two hundred and five. Yamato’s new voyage beyond time and space begins.

Be Forever Yamato and Space Battleship Yamato III, both originally released in nineteen eighty, receive a new interpretation for this latest voyage in the Space Battleship Yamato saga.

With the Space Battleship Yamato away, an unfamiliar everyday life of coexistence with Dezarium is beginning on Earth. Fleur, a girl from Dezarium, even transfers to the elementary school attended by Tsubasa, the child left behind by Shiro Kato.

The newcomers gradually settle into their surroundings, and people begin to accept them. But are they truly well-intentioned envoys who have appeared to change an unhappy history?

Partisans centred on the former Yamato fleet crew plan a large-scale resistance operation to reveal Dezarium’s true identity to the public.

Meanwhile, the Space Battleship Yamato shakes off pursuit by the invisible battleship Grodez and prepares to enter the Galman system.

Can Susumu Kodai, who has lost everything, rise again? And what fate awaits the kidnapped Sasha?

A special record booklet and newly illustrated jacket accompany the release, with recap footage, previews and audio commentaries offering additional perspectives on the voyage.
