Billion x School Blu-ray Box

Billion x School Blu-ray Box brings together Ryosuke Yamada and Haruka Kinami in a school comedy about an extraordinary teacher with a secret identity. To his students he is a new member of staff; behind the scenes he is a billionaire CEO whose wealth and willingness to act are as unconventional as his approach to education.

Rei Kagami heads the Kagami Group, one of Japan's largest business conglomerates. A brilliant inventor responsible for revolutionary developments, he is now researching highly accurate artificial intelligence, while keeping his public identity concealed. He was a curious and kind child, but as he grew older that curiosity was increasingly accompanied by a self-centred streak.

With his capable secretary and bodyguard Ichika Serizawa at his side, Kagami takes a teaching post at the academically competitive private Eto Academy under an assumed identity. His real objective is to develop an advanced educational AI programme. The partnership between Kagami and Serizawa places his outsized resources and unorthodox behaviour against the expectations of an ordinary school.

Yamada and Kinami lead a cast including Rintaro Mizusawa, Genta Matsuda, Azusa Ohara, Kouki Yamashita and So Okuno, with Mirai Shida, MEGUMI, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Yumi Adachi, Miki Mizuno and Masachika Ichimura among the supporting performers. The series features music by Makoto Miyazaki and the theme song RuLe by Ado.

All eleven episodes are collected across three programme discs, with a fourth disc containing making-of footage, the production presentation and trailers. The main series runs approximately 526 minutes and is presented in 16:9 1080i with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio. Japanese subtitles are available for the main episodes only. The four Blu-rays are region-free.
