Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki Anime

Teach me the rules of this game called life. A bottom-tier character takes on the challenge of mastering life, with guidance from a beautiful girl. Set in Saitama, this youthful romantic comedy depicts the everyday struggles and growth of high-school students.

Fumiya Tomozaki is one of Japan's best gamers, yet in real life he is a lonely high-school student. He insists that life is a terrible game. Then he meets Aoi Hinami, the school's seemingly perfect heroine. She tells him to take this game called life seriously. Is life truly a terrible game, or an amazing one? With Hinami's guidance, the bottom-tier student's quest to master life begins.

Volume one contains episodes one and two. Video extras are the creditless ending from episode one, Jinsei Easy?, and a teaser promotional video. The set includes a special three-sided case illustrated by original character designer Fly, an inner jacket illustrated by character designer Akane Yano, Character Song CD 01 from Aoi Hinami, and a special booklet. The original first production also included Yuki Yaku's newly written bonus novel Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki EXTRA Lv.1; that first-production item is subject to copy availability.

The cast features Gen Sato as Fumiya Tomozaki, Hisako Kanemoto as Aoi Hinami, Ikumi Hasegawa as Minami Nanami, Ai Kayano as Fuka Kikuchi, Ryoko Maekawa as Hanabi Natsubayashi, Nene Hieda as Yuzu Izumi, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takahiro Mizusawa, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Shuji Nakamura and Shuntaro Mizuno as Takei.
