Brave Raideen Complete Series Blu-ray

A masterpiece of robot animation from three masters who supported the Showa anime boom—directors Yoshiyuki Tomino and Tadao Nagahama, and character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko—finally reaches high-quality Blu-ray through an HD remaster made from HD-negative telecine, as the broadcast's fiftieth anniversary approaches!

Awakening from twelve thousand years of sleep, the Demon Empire begins moving to conquer the world. Prince Sharkin, an aristocratic demon, commands the demonic army led by Emperor Barao. Only Akira Hibiki, a boy descended from the ancient Mu Empire, and the mysterious robot Raideen, another legacy of Mu, can confront it. Together with the Copelander team led by Daisaburo Higashiyama, the close friend of his scientist father, Akira merges with Raideen and begins fighting the Demon Empire.

The cast features Akira Kamiya, Makoto Kosaka, Kiyoko Shibata, Makio Inoue, Keisuke Yamashita, Osamu Ichikawa, Sagami Taro, Kaneta Kimotsuki, Junpei Takiguchi, Seizo Kato and Shozo Iizuka, among others.
