Child of Kamiari Month Anime

Running through time that has stood still, she wants to believe in herself once more. This is the story of a girl who runs from Tokyo through the realm of the gods to Izumo.

Her name is Kanna. After losing her mother, she can no longer face running, something she once loved. One month, in the depths of despair, she touches a keepsake left by her mother, and the wheels begin to turn.

A rabbit appears as a messenger of the gods and invites Kanna on a journey to Izumo. 'Will I really be able to see my mother?' the girl asks. The white rabbit replies, 'If fate brings you together.'

Yasha, a descendant of demons, blocks her path, while countless gods of every shape and size await her along the way. The month when the gods disappear from the rest of Japan is written as Kannazuki, the month without gods. In the mythical land where they are welcomed and worshipped, it is called Kamiarizuki, the month with gods. Believing in herself, the girl runs toward Izumo in Shimane, a place whose name evokes the roots of this island nation.

The special edition contains the feature film on Blu-ray and a bonus DVD. Video extras include A Guide to Making an Animated Film, interviews after voice recording, The Road to Release, the ending music video, a message promotional video and a trailer collection. The set includes a booklet and an outer case.

The cast features Aju Makita, Maaya Sakamoto, Miyu Irino, Ko Shibasaki, Arata Iura, Chise Niitsu, Riko Nagase, Wataru Takagi, Chafurin and Akira Kamiya. The bonus disc is a DVD. Contents and specifications are subject to change.
