Cunimondo Takiguchi of RYUSENKEI turns to the Pony Canyon catalog for the first time in his City Music Tokyo compilation series with Anagram. Active since the early 2000s and influential in the renewed appreciation of city pop, he selects overlooked songs that shaped his own music.
This seventeen-track collection offers a fresh city-music perspective. As throughout the series, Yasuyuki Takagi's photography supplies the cover image. Its release follows RYUSENKEI's move into a new chapter with Sincere as an official member and an album inaugurating the revived Alfa Music label.
