CITY Animation

Kyoto Animation presents its first new series in six years, adapting Keiichi Arawi's girls-on-the-run comedy CITY.

This city is no ordinary city. There is laughter, heart-fluttering love and moments that bring a tear to your eye. Its residents weave together unpredictable everyday lives. Welcome to CITY, where one exciting moment leads to another!

The special booklet explores the stories behind the episodes, valuable production materials and selected storyboards, and includes a newly drawn Helvetica Standard: Imagination Jackpot manga. The ending's commemorative photograph postcard captures Mimineko and the other creatures posing for a summer snapshot, turning that memory into a postcard. A promotional poster for Tekaridake Theatre Company's seventh production, Throat, is also included.

Video extras include the creditless ending, CITY excerpt movies and CITY TEAM promotional videos introducing the different groups of residents. Audio extras include production-team and performer commentaries.
