CODE1515 Blu-ray

Young actors active in stage adaptations of manga, anime and games come together in this wholly original drama produced by BS Fuji and Fuji Television.

Three television crew members discover a strange doll and a code. Guided by that code, they meet travelers from twenty-five years in the future and begin helping them redo events they regret. Are these actions saving someone, or doing something else? Through attempts to redo the past, they discover what the future and the present mean.

Nozomi Hoshina, played by Takuma Wada, is a cameraman at internet television station Channel 88. Together with director Takumi Subaru, played by Sho Jinnai, and sound recordist Ko Hachisuka, played by Kentaro Menjo, he races around Tokyo day and night in search of scoops.

After their planned interview falls through, the three are at a loss for their next story when a huge bag falls into their path. Opening it nervously, they find a doll that looks exactly like a human, with five USB ports in its arm. Thinking it could provide material for their program, they prepare to film.

Takumi inserts a USB device into a port while Nozomi readies the camera, only to be shocked as he tries to start shooting: nothing appears on the camera. The downloaded data contains a string of numbers, 1515 35.564129 139.594417, and the bag suddenly vanishes. What was the doll inside it, and what do those mysterious numbers mean?
