Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Animation

The latest television anime adaptation of the hugely popular light novel Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, commonly known as DanMachi, written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, comes to Blu-ray. The original novels are published by GA Bunko and SB Creative.

The nightmare is not over. Despair invites ruin, and calamity brings disaster. During the battle with the Juggernaut, Bell and Ryu disappear into the abyss. Their destination is the Deep Floors, the depths of the Dungeon that every adventurer fears. Badly wounded and without anyone to help them, they face the approaching threat of calamity. In the midst of this desperate journey through the labyrinth, the elf, tormented by regrets from five years earlier, remembers her former companions.

Meanwhile, the party without Bell faces the giant two-headed dragon Amphisbaena. The cruel torrent of fire unleashed by this embodiment of destruction swallows everything. With hope and light lost in the labyrinth, does the adventurers’ fate lead to the end, or to something else? This is a harsh Familia Myth, the story of a boy and an elf resisting the onslaught of death.

This first press edition includes illustrated packaging, a new short novel by Fujino Omori, an original soundtrack and a booklet. Video extras include web previews and textless opening and ending sequences.
