Its selection follows the anime music that emerged as the Heisei era gave way to Reiwa and streaming became part of everyday listening.
Kessoku Band's Seishun Complex opens the sequence, with LiSA, ReoNa, ClariS, Aimer, YOASOBI and many more artists carrying it onward. The cover is illustrated by Imigimuru, the manga artist behind This Art Club Has a Problem! and character designer for Lycoris Recoil. The music runs continuously rather than presenting each song as an isolated full-length track.
