Dogengers Nice Buddy Blu-ray Regular Edition

Dogengers Nice Buddy — Blu-ray Regular Edition

Bring back the person — or monster — who matters to you.

Fukuoka's first tokusatsu programme, originating in Fukuoka, enters its second season thanks to its popularity! During broadcast, it repeatedly appeared in Twitter's nationwide trends.

The quality that goes beyond a local production is still here! The broadcast area expanded across Kyushu and into the Kanto region. With a distinguished cast joining the show, more was spent on production than for season one!

The fans' support went beyond the local level too! In the programme, Kitakyuman's car was really blown up, without CGI. After broadcast, the Evil Secret Society Corporation launched the Kitakyu Machine compensation project to reimburse the car. Its target of five million yen was reached on the first day. Support ultimately exceeded 400% of the target, reaching around 22million yen!

The tokusatsu action goes beyond its local origins!

The original release announcement reported that a third season was in production for broadcast in 2022, and that Kadokawa's official fan book Dogengers NICE BUDDY Official Book was available. These are historical release announcements; the separately sold fan book is not included in this Blu-ray edition.

Story Dogengers is a story about heroes who really exist. Their first production, filmed in one month, became a talking point across Japan, and the heroes enjoyed smooth sailing in both their public and private lives.

But the Dogengers got carried away. Precisely because they are real, they caused all sorts of scandals — mostly Kitakyuman.

In the midst of the chaos, the latest series, Dogengers: Endo Gomentai-ko, began airing. Its audience rating fell below 1%, and it limped to a miserable final episode...

Apparently the next programme will be Galaxy's New Star GreatZ, the newest series from the long-established tokusatsu company Hanagata Tokusatsu. The trailer looked refreshing. So far, so good...

But Hanagata Tokusatsu has poached Yabai Kamen! At this rate, the Dogengers cannot even fight...

To recover both their reason to fight and their popularity, they keep sneaking into shots of Hanagata Tokusatsu's programme!!! They take on the battle to bring back Yabai Kamen!!!

That's right — this time, the monster occupies the heroine's role!
