Thousands of years after a mysterious phenomenon petrified all humanity in an instant, Senku awakens. A born scientist with an extraordinary intellect, he faces a stone world where civilisation has collapsed and decides to reclaim it through the power of science. Together with his childhood friend Taiju Oki, whose physical strength is his pride, and the companions who revive alongside them, he begins building civilisation from nothing.

To save Tsukasa, who has been placed in cold sleep, Senku and his friends confront the mastermind behind humanity’s petrification. They welcome Ryusui, the brilliant captain they need for their voyage, and set out in a hot-air balloon to search for treasure.

As they first look for the oil that will fuel their ship, the group uses information gathered from the air to map the area around the Kingdom of Science. When Senku encounters the villagers’ food shortage, he and Taiju embark on a new undertaking. Thousands of years after the mysterious light turned humanity to stone, Senku and his companions finally press into a new world untouched by humankind.

Supplementary promotional footage accompanies the release. Its original first-production presentation also offered an illustrated case, a booklet and special material featuring Ryusui, a new commentary and recordings of a pre-season event. These limited additions depend on remaining first-production stock and are not guaranteed.
