DREAM BOYS 2024 Standard Edition Blu-ray

DREAM BOYS 2024 brings Shota Watanabe of Snow Man and Shintaro Morimoto of SixTONES together in the stage production's story of young people pursuing their dreams. Directed by Koichi Domoto, this recording preserves the October 2024 performances at Tokyo's Imperial Theatre, staged as part of the theatre's closing programme.

Watanabe returns as the protagonist and Morimoto as his rival, Champ, continuing their roles from the previous year's production. Shonen Ninja, Jun Shibuki and Ran Ohtori also appear in the cast. The musical, first performed in 2004, combines its youthful drama with the theatrical scale of a production developed over two decades.

The two-act story moves from Maria's dance studio and a film studio to the pier, Champ's gym and a pivotal match before entering Madame Emma's theatre. Its second act travels through the city at night, a television station and the hospital, culminating in the fall, heaven and the finale.

This standard edition includes making-of footage following the work behind the stage performance. The main programme runs approximately 127 minutes on one Blu-ray disc, with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and Japanese subtitles.
