Edomae Elf Vol. 1 Blu-ray
TV 江戸前エルフ Vol.1
A leisurely downtown comedy linking Edo and Reiwa begins. The popular work serialized in Shonen Magazine Edge becomes a television anime. Set in Tsukishima, Chuo City, Tokyo, it follows shrine maiden Koito Koganei of Takamimi Shrine, with its history of more than 400 years, and the reclusive elf worshipped as the shrine's deity.
Promising young voice actors portray the charming characters Yuka Ozaki plays Tsukishima shrine maiden Koito Koganei, and Ami Koshimizu plays the shrine's deity Elda. Hitomi Sekine plays Koito's younger sister Koyuzu Koganei, and Haruka Aikawa plays her close friend Koma Sakuraba. Fresh and talented voice actors breathe life into the work.
Lavish first-production extras originally advertised Each volume originally advertised an outer case newly illustrated by original author Akihiko Higuchi and a jacket newly illustrated by character designer Takeshi Oda. Volume 1 originally included a soundtrack CD set containing the complete score by Akito Matsuda, whose works include Sound! Euphonium. Separate volumes 2 and 3 originally included web-radio data CDs hosted by Yuka Ozaki and Ami Koshimizu; those are separate products and are not included in this volume-one edition. The original first-production limited extras for this edition were the Akihiko Higuchi-illustrated outer case, the Takeshi Oda-illustrated jacket, a special booklet and the original soundtrack CD set. These were available only while supplies lasted. The independent exact-edition retailer marks the first-press allocation as no longer available, so inclusion of these extras, including both soundtrack CDs, is conditional and not guaranteed with the current offer. Retailer-exclusive gifts are excluded.
Story Tsukishima, Chuo City, Tokyo. Takamimi Shrine has recorded more than 400 years of history since the Edo period. Its enshrined deity is an elf summoned from another world who has become a complete shut-in. Koito Koganei, the shrine's fifteenth-generation shrine maiden, serves the elf deity Elda. Although Elda keeps her busy while enjoying modern civilization and otaku hobbies, Koito is thrilled by the Edo-period culture Elda teaches her, and warmed by the enduring bonds between Elda and the people of Tsukishima. But this elf really is far too lazy! And elf-and-shrine-maiden pairs from other shrines appear too...!? A leisurely downtown comedy linking Edo and Reiwa begins.
