ALKALOID takes the seventh volume of Ensemble Stars!!' Trip album series. Eight established songs are joined by two unit songs and solo performances by each idol, with the instrumental DiZZineSS opening the fifteen-track CD.

TK of Ling Tosite Sigure writes, composes and arranges Black Out See Saw. Hiiro Amagi's SOLID SOUL, Aira Shiratori's I LOVE LOVE, Mayoi Ayase's Raise the Velvet and Tatsumi Kazehaya's Starlight of Faith close the album with four individual performances.

Gakuto Kajiwara, Kohei Amasaki, Chiharu Shigematsu and Masatomo Nakazawa provide the voices of Hiiro, Aira, Mayoi and Tatsumi.
