Even a Replica Can Fall in Love Vol.1 collects episodes 1-5 of the seaside coming-of-age romance on Blu-ray.

Nao is a replica of Sunao Aikawa. She goes to school when Sunao does not want to, studies in her place and tries not to attract attention. Her borrowed life exists to make things easier for the original, until Nao falls in love. Dates in school uniform and secret promises become experiences she wants to keep for herself. As those treasured moments accumulate, so do the things she cannot tell Sunao, who grows increasingly uneasy about the changes in her double.

The anime adapts Harunadon's Dengeki Novel Prize-winning story, directed by Ryuichi Kimura with series composition by Tomoko Shinozuka and animation by Voil. Sumire Morohoshi voices both Nao and Sunao, alongside Ryota Suzuki, Yuki Takada, Kaori Nazuka, Jun Fukuyama, Rina Hidaka and Shugo Nakamura.

Disc extras include specially filmed cast footage, creditless opening and ending sequences and web previews for episodes 1-5. The main episodes have Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
