Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! — Volume 1

Conquer the most stressful game in history! The high-energy fantasy comedy from the author of Cautious Hero becomes a television anime! Someone dubbed it “Shitty Real Online.” The attempt to beat the worst game ever begins.

The next fantasy comedy from Light Tuchihi, author of the hugely popular Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, began television broadcasting in April 2021. This is the author's second work serialized on Kakuyomu. The novels are published by MF Bunko J, with a manga adaptation serialized in Comic Alive. The distinctive turns of phrase and world-building remain intact, joined by quick-fire dialogue and exhilarating battles. The excessively realistic VRMMO Kiwame Quest, which Hiro starts playing by chance, turns out to be the ultimate terrible game! Hiro fires off one exasperated retort after another in this high-energy fantasy comedy.

Each volume's first production run was announced with an outer case newly illustrated by Yuta Kevin Kenmotsu, a special booklet and a newly written novel by Light Tuchihi with a newly illustrated cover by original character designer Yota. The three-volume Blu-ray and DVD release also includes recurring cast audio commentaries. These original first-run benefits are conditional on the actual supplied pressing; the available Amazon offer does not confirm a first pressing.

Story Unremarkable high-school student Hiro Yuki happens to acquire the full-dive RPG Kiwame Quest. Created with cutting-edge technology, the game lives up to its promise of ultimate realism: the graphics, NPC behaviour, scent of plants and wind brushing against the skin are all extraordinarily convincing. There is just one problem: it is so realistic, and so troublesome, that clearing it seems impossible. “More than 10,000,000,000,000,000 flags?! My physical abilities are exactly the same as in real life?!” “Yes. Getting hit hurts, and cuts take days to heal. It's the most realistic game ever!” The only reward is a sense of achievement. This is no game to play casually. Conquer the most stressful game in history!
