Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet Complete Blu-ray Box Limited Edition

A boy from space encounters the fleet city Gargantia. Directed by Kazuya Murata, with series composition and scripts by Gen Urobuchi, this original science-fiction adventure arrives in a complete Blu-ray box. From the television series and OVAs to novels and the soundtrack, the box brings together the world of Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet.

In the distant future, at the far end of the galaxy, humanity continues to fight the strange creatures known as Hideauze for the survival of its species. During an intense battle, young soldier Ledo and his humanoid mobile weapon Chamber are swallowed by a distortion in space-time. Awakening from artificial hibernation, Ledo discovers that he has washed up on Earth, a forgotten planet on the frontier.

With almost all of Earth's surface covered by oceans, people form vast fleets and live modest but lively lives salvaging relics of an old civilisation from the seabed. Gargantia is one such fleet. Unable to understand its language, Ledo is bewildered by this unknown environment, with its unfamiliar culture and customs. With little choice, he begins searching for a way to live alongside Amy and the people of Gargantia. For a boy who knows no way of life except fighting, it is the beginning of days filled with surprises.
