Humanity versus the gods: the ultimate battle of minds. Throughout human history, no one has achieved a complete victory. An immense intellectual contest, challenging divine games through strategy, began its television broadcast in April 2024!

The popular fantasy light novel Gods' Games We Play, published by MF Bunko J, receives its long-awaited anime adaptation. Idle gods created the supreme cerebral contest, the Gods' Games. Humans given the divine power Arise are called Apostles, and anyone who wins ten games receives an enormous blessing. Yet no one has ever conquered the games completely. Fay, a boy who loves games and is hailed as the finest rookie in recent years, joins Leshea, a former goddess who has just awakened from a long sleep, to challenge them. Their ultimate battle of wits with the gods now begins!

The original first-press bonuses include a special booklet featuring a newly written short story by original author Kei Sazane, a special box newly illustrated by original character designer Toiro Tomose, and artwork newly drawn by character designer Yoshihiro Watanabe. The release announcement describes the illustrated packaging as a digipak and the bonus list as an illustrated jacket. Each of the DVD box volumes also contains bonus footage. These first-press physical items are conditional and not guaranteed; CDJapan reports that they are no longer available.
