Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again Blu-ray Box

A devoted older couple suddenly becomes young again. This lively comedy follows a handsome grandpa and a beautiful grandma whose love has lasted through the years.

The manga began on Twitter and pixiv before starting its print serialization in Comic Alunna in August 2022. With more than one million four hundred thousand copies in circulation, the popular series became a television anime in April 2024. Its beautiful Aomori setting frames a story filled with laughter and tears.

Shozo and Ine have run an apple farm in Aomori for decades and are so close that everyone knows them as an inseparable couple. One day, they eat a mysterious apple they find in the orchard. When they wake the next morning, they have returned to their youthful appearances.

Shozo, once a handsome young man, is now strikingly good-looking and muscular again. Ine has regained the beauty of her younger days. Their children, grandchildren Mino and Shiori, and everyone around them are astonished.

Even after such an extraordinary miracle, Shozo and Ine carry on at their own pace, living each day in their familiar grandpa-and-grandma way. They remain as close as ever, with more energy than before.

The release includes newly drawn manga, an illustrated outer case and digipak, and a special booklet and original-art collection with setting material. Supplementary features include the Welcome to the Saito Family special programme first published on YouTube in March 2024, an audio commentary for the final episode, opening and ending footage without credits, and promotional footage.
