Handyman Saitou in Another World Anime

He cannot wield a sword or use magic, but there is no substitute for Saitou. The popular web manga becomes a television anime. Volume 2 arrives on Blu-ray.

Ryohei Kimura plays the handyman protagonist Saitou, while Fairouz Ai plays Raelza, a strong, beautiful tsundere warrior. Nao Toyama plays Lafanpan, a fairy whose cute appearance hides her love of money. Cho plays Morlock, the strongest wizard, who forgets his spells and is also a lecherous old man. Popular voice actors with both skill and individuality give passionate performances as these appealing characters.

Story Saitou has always lived an ordinary life, doing reasonably well at sports and studies without ever coming first. Working as a handyman, he is suddenly reincarnated into another world. There he meets Raelza, a strong, beautiful warrior with a prickly exterior; Morlock, an immensely powerful wizard who forgets his spells and is also a lecherous old man; and Lafanpan, a cute but money-loving fairy. Together with these intensely individual companions, Saitou takes on dungeon exploration.

His lock-picking know-how opens treasure chests, and his bag-repair skills help him mend his companions' armor. He puts the handyman experience learned in his original world to use in this new one. Even here, Saitou is never special, but he discovers what it means to be needed and to be thanked. His life feels fulfilling.
