Have You Got It Yet? The Story of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd Blu-ray

First released internationally in 2023 and in Japanese cinemas in 2024, Have You Got It Yet? The Story of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd explores the life and extraordinary talent of the musician who helped create Pink Floyd.

During its worldwide release in summer 2023, the film achieved a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and sold out screenings. Intimate interviews with David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Roger Waters reveal Barrett’s lasting influence on the band. The film also speaks with his sister Rosemary Breen. It also features Pink Floyd’s first managers Peter Jenner and Andrew King, alongside Pete Townshend of The Who and Graham Coxon of Blur.

The bonus footage includes two moving performances of Arnold Layne. David Gilmour joins David Bowie at the Royal Albert Hall in 2006, in a performance originally included in Gilmour’s 2007 release Remember That Night. The second comes from the 2007 Barrett tribute concert The Madcap’s Last Laugh at the Barbican, where Gilmour, Mason and Richard Wright performed together for the final time as Pink Floyd.

An interview with Bogawa and a director-and-producer commentary featuring Bogawa, Rupert Truman and Julius Beltrame provide further perspectives on the film. Discussions of Barrett’s paintings and spoken performances of his lyrics delve deeper into his creative world: comedian Noel Fielding reads Dark Globe, poet Rob Fitterman performs Rats, and actor Gerald Bell presents Lucifer Sam.
