In a world where a goddess grants a person's class and skills at the age of ten, Arel appears destined for greatness. His mother is the Sword Princess Fara and his father is the Magic King Leon, so everyone expects him to receive an exceptional calling. Instead, he is declared classless. Disappointment and pity surround him, but Arel refuses to accept that the absence of innate talent must determine his future.
Through relentless practice, he acquires new abilities and eventually surpasses those whose skills were bestowed on them. His search for greater strength turns the supposedly powerless boy into someone others recognize as a hero. This third volume contains episodes 9-12, completing the twelve-episode adaptation of Shichio Kuzu's fantasy novels.
Kensho Ono voices Arel, joined by Saori Hayami as fellow swordswoman Raina, Sumire Uesaka as Dragon Fang guild leader Lilia, Rumi Okubo as Kufa, Mai Nakahara as Fara, Shinya Takahashi as Leon, Karin Isobe as Astair and Yuka Iguchi as Mira. Studio A-CAT produces the animation, with direction by Kaoru Yabana, series composition and scripts by Chabo Higurashi, original character concepts by Yumehito Ueda and Akio Nanae, sound direction by Hiroto Morishita and music by Kento Asahina.
The included 20-page booklet contains an excerpt from chapter six of the original story. Disc extras comprise the creditless opening, creditless ending and the second promotional video, covering the Magic City arc. The Blu-ray contains 95 minutes of episodes and five minutes of extras, presented in Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo without subtitles.
