Metal Armor Dragonar BANDAI SPIRITS HI-METAL R

HI-METAL R Dragonar 1 and Cavalier 0 brings the early protagonist machine from Metal Armor Dragonar to the series with newly sculpted exterior armor. Marking the anime's 40th anniversary, the set adds an entirely new sculpt of its distinctive XC-00 Cavalier 0 support unit.

The Cavalier's disc-shaped head uses clear parts in several colors, and its two long-range rail cannons move independently. The rear drum-shaped compartment connects to Dragonar 1's back for a secure attachment. The radome rotates and extends, while hinged front armor supports imposing railgun-equipped displays. Dragonar 1's proportions are faithfully reproduced with the support unit removed as well.

Opening hatches reveal the characteristic internal frame, continuing the HI-METAL R series' own mechanical features. A joined laser-sword grip recreates memorable scenes. The hand railgun can be held with both hands, and spare magazines allow reloading poses.

The shoulder-mounted anti-Metal Armor grenades and arm-mounted throwing bombs detach and fit the interchangeable hands. Rear thrusters unfold for close-combat displays with the laser swords.

This pre-painted ABS, PVC and die-cast metal figure stands approximately 170 mm tall, or 175 mm with Cavalier 0 attached. It includes a hybrid shield, weapons, five pairs of hands and a dedicated display base.
