Himitsu Sentai Gorenger Blu-ray Box 2 continues the original Super Sentai adventure with episodes 17 through 33. This 50th-anniversary re-release presents the television episodes in an HD remaster scanned from the negatives, returning to the five-member team that began the long-running franchise.

The Black Cross Army's attacks leave EAGLE's Japanese branches devastated. From each branch, one survivor remains, and commander Gonpachi Edogawa brings them together as the Gorenger, a special unit formed to oppose the enemy's ambitions of world domination. The series was created by Shotaro Ishinomori and originally broadcast from 1975 to 1977.

This volume spans discs 4, 5 and 6 of the complete series: episodes 17-22 appear on the first disc, episodes 23-28 on the second and episodes 29-33 on the third. Disc 6 adds a cast interview with Hiroshi Miyauchi and the film Himitsu Sentai Gorenger: The Blue Fortress! Variblune's Rampage, presented in standard definition.

The main television programme totals approximately 423 minutes across three region-free Blu-rays. Episodes retain the original 4:3 presentation with Japanese Linear PCM mono audio. No subtitles are included.
