Hinatazaka46 return with Myakuutsu Kanjo, their second album and their first in roughly three years. Produced by Yasushi Akimoto, the group began as Hiragana Keyaki, the sister group of Keyakizaka46, now Sakurazaka46. Their powerful staging and peaceful, uplifting performances gradually built a following, and their first standalone album Hashiridasu Shunkan reached number one on the weekly Oricon chart in June 2018.
Renamed Hinatazaka46 on February 11, 2019, they debuted under that name with Kyun on March 27. By this album's release, all ten singles and their previous album had topped Oricon, and they had become the first female act whose first ten singles each exceeded 400,000 first-week sales. The 'Happy Aura' associated with their Hiragana days remains central to their wish to bring smiles to listeners.
The standard CD gathers seventeen songs, including Kimi wa 0 kara 1 ni Nare, Am I ready?, One choice and Kimi shika Katan. A live recording of Kitsune closes a program that also features the unit songs Right?, Seishun Popcorn and Rock Climbing.
