Hiro Takahashi's MEDIA REMORAS YEARS REMASTERED BOX marks thirty years since his solo debut. Known for the Yu Yu Hakusho endings Unbalance na Kiss o Shite and Taiyo ga Mata Kagayaku Toki, the singer-songwriter began his professional career with Tulip in 1987 before releasing his first solo single and album together on November 19, 1993.
The first three UHQCDs remaster his Media Remoras albums and add non-album singles, alternate mixes and karaoke recordings. Disc four reaches further into the archive, including his Tulip compositions under the name Hiroyuki Takahashi, alternate edits, and previously unissued music composed and performed for Nippon Broadcasting's Show Up Nighter.
The fifth disc is a DVD with music videos for Taiyo ga Mata Kagayaku Toki, Kuchibiru ga Hodokenai and Shiawase no Pilot. UHQCD is an enhanced-manufacturing audio-CD format compatible with standard CD players, so the four audio discs do not require a dedicated player.
