Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documental Season 11 Blu-ray

Hitoshi Matsumoto presents a closed-room survival contest in which the participants try to make one another laugh.

The extreme battle of laughter enters a new stage. This season lifts the entry restriction that previously limited the contest to comedians! The extraordinary participants Matsumoto has brought together from every field clash for a ten-million-yen prize. Unpredictable and certain to be fiercely contested, this unlimited battle is one that nobody can foresee.

The only qualification for entry is being human! Big names from different fields gather. Why have they chosen to take part in a battle of laughter so different from their usual stages? Each participant reveals the thoughts they have kept inside. In an atmosphere unlike any previous season of Documental, a new legend begins—only for someone to laugh in record time!

Koji Takanohana takes the initiative early, showing a succession of expressions that overturn his familiar image. Katsunori Takahashi meets him head-on and plans a targeted attack with a mask routine, but things do not go as expected. Hiroki Moriuchi even brings that famous father of his into Documental! A contest without comedians develops in truly unpredictable ways.

Fiery food, impersonations and a mysterious hot pot: the participants launch one comic trap after another. Their fierce attempts to defeat one another reach a stalemate as stubborn defensive resolve keeps everyone standing. Observer Goto from Football Hour is brought in, heating up the contest further. Then a participant who has kept attacking boldly unexpectedly digs his own grave!

The unrestricted battle finally approaches its conclusion. With less than an hour remaining, the increasingly draining attacks and defences intensify. A devastating phrase lands at precisely the right moment, while a costume routine pays off carefully planted foreshadowing. However harsh the circumstances, the participants bravely keep their fighting stances. Who will take home the ten-million-yen prize?
