The long-awaited LIP×LIP film! The story of Yujiro and Aizo, from their first meeting to the formation of LIP×LIP!

LIP×LIP is the virtual idol unit produced by HoneyWorks, a creative team whose videos had surpassed 800 million views at the time of the original release announcement. As a project celebrating HoneyWorks' tenth anniversary, the story of the unit's formation has become a film!

The original announcement highlighted 800 million combined video views, 1.9 million YouTube channel subscribers, one million LINE subscribers and 2.6 million copies of the original novels in circulation. Supported enthusiastically by teenage girls, HoneyWorks marked its tenth anniversary with this project. The stars are LIP×LIP, the virtual idols with 50 million cumulative video views. This stirring drama reveals their previously untold beginnings. These figures describe the original release campaign.

Virtual Johnny's duo ASCANA — Asuka Kaido and Kanata Ichigoya — joins as LIP×LIP's rival act, voiced by Naniwa Danshi members Joichiro Fujiwara and Kazuya Ohashi. Their senior idol unit Full Throttle 4, which trains LIP×LIP, brings further energy to the story!

All four virtual concert programmes, presented across four weeks during the film's theatrical release, are included. Experience the excitement of the concert venue at home!

Story Yujiro is the son of a kabuki actor. He has devoted himself to training so that he can appear on the kabuki stage, but when he is not chosen as his father's successor, he loses his dream. Meanwhile, Aizo loves singing but spends his days frustrated by his selfish mother and older brother. One day, an unexpected opportunity leads both Yujiro and Aizo to enter an idol audition. When they meet at the venue, a trivial matter turns into an argument. They both pass the audition, only for the company president to order them to form a unit together...
