Hula Fulla Dance Regular Edition Blu-ray

This winter, the curtain rises on a coming-of-age entertainment story about rookie dancers who choose the work of delivering smiles from the stage. New employee Hiwa Natsunagi gives her reason for applying: I want to bring smiles to everyone.

Hiwa is a high-school student living in Iwaki, Fukushima. Unsure what to do after graduation, she sees a poster for Spa Resort Hawaiians, known as the Hawaii of Tohoku, where her older sister Mari once worked. On impulse, she applies for the recruitment examination to become a new hula dancer.

Accepted despite having no experience, Hiwa starts down the path of a hula girl alongside fellow recruits Kanna Kamakura, Ranko Takigawa, Ohana Ka'aihue and Shion Shirasawa. But the five have such strong personalities that they cannot work in step, and they make a major mistake on their first stage appearance.

Called the most disappointing rookies ever, the girls feel dejected. Yet while sharing the good and difficult parts of love, dieting and hula, they deepen their bonds even as they stumble along. With their individual hopes in their hearts, they take to the stage again today. This growth story of new hula girls brings laughter and tears. I am making hula my profession.
