Ichikei's Crow Shokken Hatsudo Edition Blu-ray

To reveal the truth. Who truly deserves to be brought to justice?

Two cases shake the nation. They conceal a Pandora's box that must never be opened. The film based on the popular television drama arrives on Blu-ray.

Two years have passed since Michio Iruma left the First Criminal Division of the Third Branch of the Tokyo District Court, known as Ichikei. Now transferred to Okayama, he takes charge of an assault case in which a housewife threatened Eiji Ujo, the youngest Minister of Defence in history, with a kitchen knife.

Behind the incident lies a collision between an Aegis warship and a cargo ship, surrounded by suspicious circumstances. Every detail of the warship's voyage is a state secret, however. This formidable obstacle puts Michio's trump card, his authority to order his own investigation, beyond reach.

Meanwhile, Chizuru Sakama becomes a lawyer through a programme allowing judges to experience another profession. By coincidence, her placement is in the town next to Michio's. She partners with human-rights lawyer Shingo Tsukimoto and gradually finds herself drawn to his concern for people's troubles.

Then suspicions emerge about a major local company that supports the town.

A shocking truth lies hidden within these two cases. Is it a Pandora's box that must never be opened? What will Michio do?
