Idol Tenshi Yokoso Yoko Blu-ray Box
TV アイドル天使ようこそようこ BD-BOX
An angel returns. The popular television anime Idol Tenshi Yokoso Yoko, created in collaboration with a real idol, appears for the first time in a compact, accessible Blu-ray box edition, digitally remastered from the original masters.
“The yo in Yoko is the yo in taiyo—the sun!” Cheerful, innocent Yoko travels all the way from the countryside to the great city of Tokyo with her pet Moo, dreaming of one day becoming a singer on a Broadway stage.
By chance, she meets Saki, an aspiring actress, aboard the bullet train. The two hit it off and head for Shibuya, thinking an entertainment agency might scout them.
Moo cannot put his feelings into words. Yet whenever Yoko looks lonely, he stays close by her side and encourages her.
Set in Shibuya, a pop-infused, wonderfully mysterious story unfolds in the style of a musical.
The box features a newly illustrated outer case and inner jacket. Supplementary footage includes the opening and ending without credits. The Yokkun segments are not included.
