IT/イット ウェルカム・トゥ・デリー “それ”が見えたら、終わり。<シーズン1> Blu-ray BOX(3枚組)
Pennywise’s origins are finally revealed in a terrifying prequel to the hit horror series. Welcome to the beginning of ultimate fear. HBO brings the prequel to IT to television, tracing the origins of the murderous clown who appears every twenty-seven years and revealing how “It” began.
Every terror started in this town. As a prequel to IT, the highest-grossing horror film in cinema history according to Box Office Mojo as of March 19, 2026, this chilling origin story uncovers the beginnings of the fear lurking in Derry.
The series achieved the largest premiere audience for an HBO horror series on HBO Max, according to HBO as of March 19, 2026. Across all genres, it recorded the third-largest audience, behind The Last of Us Season 2 and House of the Dragon Season 1.
HBO reconstructs Stephen King’s world through a fresh perspective and visual approach while faithfully preserving the original author’s vision. King himself praised it as “Wonderful” and described the first episode as terrifying. Reimagined under the Muschietti siblings’ executive production, this new chapter combines rich drama and cinematic quality for both horror enthusiasts and drama fans. It further expands the vision established by Andy Muschietti in IT and IT Chapter Two.
What happened before Pennywise appeared? The series brings the tragedies that recur every twenty-seven years to life while capturing the atmosphere of each era. Season 1 returns to Derry, Maine, in 1962, twenty-seven years before the 1989 setting of IT.
Fans of the films can discover new connections, while new viewers can begin here. The story stands on its own and can be enjoyed without knowing IT; for returning fans, the clues linking it to the events of the films offer another attraction.
